Aspects of our existing system, including VIPR, Solution Center, and Inbox, will be completely phased out and replaced by 3/31/24 with solutions that, at their full functionality, will offer access to more network data and flexible/scalable capabilities.
Health Data Utility: From Vision to Reality in Many States
In March 2023, Civitas Networks for Health, a prestigious membership organization for Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) - of which MiHIN is a proud member - unveiled a groundbreaking Health Data Utility Framework. This framework aims to serve as a comprehensive guide for states, regions, HIEs, and community partners, facilitating a seamless transition from HIE to a state-of-the-art health data utility.
As the the State Designated HIE for Michigan dedicated to supporting vital statewide information exchange functions, MiHIN is excited about promoting the Health Data Utility framework and working to ensure our shared infrastructure will enable Michigan to benefit from the evolving national standards for interoperability and optimally support the needs of all Michigan stakeholders.
Upcoming Holiday Network Maintenance and Service Schedule
MiHIN's weekly maintenance window will occur Tuesday November 21 instead of Thursday November 23 and will only include critical changes.
Every year, MiHIN closes for business between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. The MiHIN office will be closed December 25th, 2023 through January 2nd, 2024. During this time there are small teams monitoring the Help Desk ticketing system, phone lines, and interfaces. A maintenance production code and feature freeze will occur 12/22/23 through 1/2/24. During this time, MiHIN will not implement requests for changes or enhancements to our production environments.
An operational freeze will occur 12/22/23 through 1/2/24. During this time, no new users or organizations can be introduced to, trained, or added to existing use cases, services and/or tools.
ACRS files submitted through DSM or the legacy SFTP will not be validated and/or loaded. If you submit ACRS files via this method please make sure to submit your valid ACRS files before Wednesday, 12/21/22 for loading.
ACRS files submitted through the automated SFTP will continue to be validated and processed automatically.
The MIGateway File Submission module will remain operable for ACRS file submission.
