To best support our network participants in the pursuit of high-quality, collaborative patient care, MiHIN is excited to announce an upgrade to its ReferralsPlus tool.

On July 17, 2024, an enhanced version of the platform will be launched, replacing your current version.

The user experience of the platform, as well as look & feel that you have come to expect, will remain the same. To ensure a smooth transition, we've partnered with Holon Solutions to create a self-serve installation guide, along with training and enablement resources. A dedicated support team will also be available throughout the process to answer any questions you may have.

The new platform, MiHIN Referrals, includes in-app support and opens up additional capabilities to improve efficiency.

Your Action Items for a Smooth Transition:

The MiHIN Referrals platform is a collaborative network. For the system to function optimally and deliver its full value to every user, timely participation from all network members is essential. By completing these steps for a July 17 launch, you ensure a smooth transition for all participants, contribute to the continued efficacy of the entire network and help us avoid potential delays or disruptions that could impact everyone's experience.

• Step 1: Complete and Return Info Planner 
  • Please access and complete the Practice Planner. This required document helps us generate personalized instructions for your users regarding the uninstall/install/data export process. The completed form should be returned to referrals@mihin.org no later than July 5.
    
    
• Step 2: Export Your Data
  • On July 17, the specified go-live date, please download your historical and active referral data from ReferralsPlus. 
  • Please note: The new MiHIN Referrals platform is built on a different system than the current version. Due to this technical difference, historical and active referral data cannot be automatically transferred to the new platform on launch day. To ensure that you do not lose any critical information, it is imperative that you download historical and active data from the current system before uninstalling.
  • We have included clear instructions for exporting your data within this email and online.
    
    
• Step 3: Uninstall ReferralsPlus & Install MiHIN Referrals
  • To minimize downtime, once you have exported your data, uninstall the ReferralsPlus app from your device(s) and install MiHIN Referrals. Detailed instructions can be found here.
